May is National Walking Month

Where will you wander?

Walking is a great way to help manage your weight, tone your muscles, improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase energy levels, and improve your mood. Even a brisk 10-minute walk every day can offer significant health benefits and contribute to the recommended 150 minutes of weekly exercise as advised by the Chief Medical Officer.

Here in Barnet, we’re lucky to have plenty of opportunities and green spaces to enjoy walking. Check out our Guide to Walking in Barnet and explore our pages for many opportunities to move more this May!
